Keeping up with the times

My parents were on a road trip a few days ago. Every so often they texted me things like, "At gum boot town now love you" and "At lake watching hole in one good weather". It's very nice. My grandpa Skyped with us grandkids on Christmas Eve. I wonder if, when I get to be in my 70s, I'll be hip with the technology, fashion or music of the age. I probably won't. Already I don't know what an iDog is. Already I think leggings under skirts is a ridiculous fashion statement which, even on nice-looking people, is, at best, disappointing.

In return for helping Yann with his applications, he gave me a large sheet of bubble wrap to pop! Popping goodness!

When you're old if you find the technology of the day useful, you will probably use it otherwise just leave it for the kids and listen to your old skool antique iPod with a *cough* hard drive ;-)
