This gets funnier every time I read it. I always have this mental image of a middle-aged person saying "Bling bling" while bobbing their head and indicating quote marks with their fingers.
This is an excellent book, by the way. And rest assured, Mr White is E.B. White of "Some pig!" fame, so this is not your ordinary dry style and grammar book.
