Last Saturday, I embarked on what turned out to be a fruitless search for a pea coat.
It seems that every excellent coat I did see on Saturday was from a men's store, every single one of them splendidly cut, and in smart, sturdy fabrics. I've a good mind to buy one and have it tailored to fit. It certainly would be one of a kind, but the cost could never be justified.
